1.Kamakhya Devi Temple
Dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya, it is one of the oldest and most revered centres of Tantric practices. An annual festival that celebrates the menstruation of the goddess.
2.Umananda Temple
Umananda Devaloi is a Shiva temple located at the Umananda Island (Peacock Island) in the middle of river Brahmaputra.It is known as smallest inhabited riverine island in the world.
3.Assam State Zoo and Botanical Garden
The Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden is the largest of its kind in the North East region . The zoo is home to about 895 animals, birds and reptiles representing almost 113 species of animals and birds from around the world.
4.dipor bil
Dipor Bil, It is a permanent freshwater lake, in a former channel of the Brahmaputra River, to the south of the main river. It is also called a wetland under the Ramsar Convention.
